Our patented PEM electrolyser technology is setting new benchmarks for efficiency and scalability with our units in operation. We are scaling rapidly and now need an Engineering Manager who combines deep technical expertise with proven leadership in complex product development. This is not a coordination-only role, it is a chance to lead multidisciplinary teams through real engineering challenges and shape the next generation of our technology

Your Role
This is a hands-on leadership position. You will lead the design, development, and delivery of containerized PEM electrolysers from concept through manufacturing and deployment. You will apply systems thinking to connect every technical, operational, and manufacturing detail. You will ask the questions others might overlook and work with your team to deliver robust and innovative solutions.
What You Will Do
- Lead and mentor engineers in mechanical, process, electrical and automation disciplines.
- Drive technology development and product design for scalable manufacturing of advanced industrial systems.
- Actively participate in technical problem-solving and design decisions.
- Apply systems engineering to ensure designs meet performance, safety, manufacturability, and lifecycle requirements according to product requirements.
- Work closely with manufacturing, R&D, and supply chain to ensure cost-efficient industrialization.
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
- Serve as a senior internal and external technical authority in PEM electrolyser systems supporting customer interactions.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and technical excellence.
What We Are Looking For
- Master’s degree in mechanical, Electrical, Process Engineering or equivalent.
- Hands-on experience with PEM electrolysers, hydrogen systems, or similar advanced industrial technologies such as fuel cells, electrochemical process equipment, high-pressure gas systems, or other complex process and energy systems.
- Proven track record in end-to-end product development for advanced industrial products.
- Experience taking technology from concept to market.
- Strong background in leading 10–15-person multidisciplinary teams in complex environments.
- Demonstrated ability to apply systems thinking to see the complete product ecosystem.
- Skilled in asking the right technical questions to uncover issues and improve designs.
- 10+ years in engineering roles, with at least 5 years in technical leadership.
- Strong technology development execution skills based on engineering expertise rather than purely administrative management.
